1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using syncplay eSports ("Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Platform or register for our tournaments.

2. Definitions

• "Platform" refers to the syncplay eSports website and services
• "User" refers to any person accessing or using the Platform
• "Player" refers to registered tournament participants
• "Team" refers to registered groups of players for team-based tournaments
• "Tournament" refers to any competitive gaming event hosted by syncplay

3. Eligibility

3.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to register for tournaments. Players under 18 must have parental or legal guardian consent and supervision.

3.2 Account Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. Providing false information may result in disqualification and ban from future tournaments.

4. Registration and Payment

4.1 Registration

Tournament registration requires completion of all required forms and payment of entry fees. Registration is not complete until payment is confirmed.

4.2 Entry Fees

• Entry fees are non-refundable except in cases of tournament cancellation by syncplay
• All fees are in Nigerian Naira (₦)
• Payment must be completed through our official Paystack payment gateway
• Your spot is not reserved until payment is confirmed

4.3 Team Registration

For team tournaments, one team member must complete registration for the entire team. All team members must meet eligibility requirements.

5. Tournament Rules

All players must comply with specific Tournament Rules published for each event. Tournament Rules are incorporated by reference into these Terms and Conditions.

6. Code of Conduct

6.1 Expected Behavior

Players must:

• Treat all participants, staff, and opponents with respect
• Compete fairly and honestly
• Follow all tournament rules and instructions
• Arrive on time for scheduled matches
• Use appropriate language in all communications

6.2 Prohibited Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Cheating, hacking, or exploitation of game bugs
• Use of unauthorized software or hardware
• Match-fixing or collusion
• Harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory behavior
• Impersonation of other players or staff
• Sharing accounts or allowing others to play on your behalf

7. Prizes and Payouts

7.1 Prize Distribution

• Prizes are awarded as stated in tournament announcements
• Prize money will be distributed within 7-14 business days after tournament conclusion
• Winners must provide valid banking/payment information
• Tax obligations are the sole responsibility of prize winners

7.2 Prize Forfeiture

Prizes may be forfeited if a winner is found to have violated rules, provided false information, or engaged in prohibited conduct.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Platform Content

All content on the Platform, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of syncplay eSports or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

8.2 Game Rights

The tournaments are not affiliated with Electronic Arts Inc. and are not sponsored by EA or their licensors. All game trademarks and copyrights belong to their respective owners.

9. Liability and Disclaimers

9.1 Platform Availability

We strive to maintain platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for technical issues, server downtime, or internet connectivity problems.

9.2 Tournament Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel tournaments due to unforeseen circumstances, technical issues, or insufficient registrations. Entry fees will be refunded in case of cancellation.

9.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, syncplay eSports shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or participation in tournaments.

10. Disputes and Disqualification

10.1 Dispute Resolution

All tournament-related disputes will be resolved by syncplay administrators. Decisions are final and binding.

10.2 Disqualification

We reserve the right to disqualify any player or team for rule violations, misconduct, or providing false information. Disqualified participants forfeit all prizes and entry fees.

11. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By accepting these Terms, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Platform.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
